Giving to the GIVEbros
I did not know that today when I sent some excess food from a late meeting over to the boys across the street I’d be let into the world of the GIVE project. My mum had simply brought home more food then she thought from an evening out, and we knew the young men across the street could always use some free food. I quickly ran over to see if they wanted it! Luckily they did because we wouldn’t have been able to eat it all ourselves. Then they told me about GIVE! Ed quickly explained the concept, I was hooked, and he handed me his own GIVE band and I immediately put it on my left wrist. I walked across the street with a random act of kindness to the boys who spread the GIVE every day. It was in interesting twist of fate. Thanks guys for reminding me what it feels like when you go out of the way to really give something more.
